Introduction

The author believes that the Universe was created by God to be the ultimate in symmetrical perfection.  That is, there will be no loose ends to tie up when the Cosmos winds down at the end of time.   And, time, the author believes will include with it an end point.  Yes, an end to time will be in our future.  Indeed, if this model is correct, our Universe will begin when the backward-in-time one ends.  As to when that will be, well that's anyone's guess!  Other texts include the author's speculations on the subject, but here we will just leave this an open question.

The Broken Symmetry Of Entropy

A particular difficulty that has nagged physicists for quite some time has been the entropy riddle.  Why does entropy (a kind of randomness or disorder) always tend to increase over time?   Why does the Universe appear to be falling apart, continuing to expand at an increasing rate over time?  Many physicists have linked entropy with the time (and heat diffusion) problem(s) as well.

Hence, as time flows in one direction, so it follows does entropy tend to increase.  These facts are well-known by physicists.  It appears to the author that both problems could be solved by assuming that time flows in either direction with equal ease at both micro and macro scales.  However, this presently disagrees with all macro-based observations.  But, why must this be the case?  Does a backward-in-time Universe explain the riddle of entropy?

It appears that a broken entropy symmetry has occurred at the beginning of the Cosmos that separated out the backward-in-time Universe (also, at above the speed of light by the way!), the quantum Universe and our own Universe.  Whilst our Universe is busy speeding up, the faster than light (backward-in-time) Universe is simultaneously slowing down (to the speed of light).  When they eventually do meet at the speed of light, the Cosmos will come to an end.

Also, in this text, the author will propose what he calls the "Texas Interpretation Of Quantum Mechanics" which is of his own creation designed to solve some (but perhaps not all) of the riddles of quantum mechanics.  To follow is the gist of the proposal and its various consequences.  To begin with, will be the problem of symmetrical entropy.  This question must first be addressed which leads to the quantum mechanical view developed down here in Texas where the author presently resides (hence the name).

Symmetrical Time And Entropy

Whilst symmetrical time in both directions appears to solve the entropy problem, this solution obviously disagrees with observations (particularly at the macro level where we exist). Surprisingly, at the quantum level, there is actually no problem with time (or entropy) traveling in either direction.  But, we don't usually observe broken glasses assembling themselves off the ground rising upward and then being reassembled into full glasses of water on a table during the course of an average day.  But why not?

Indeed, physically broken objects don't usually fix themselves without our own personal intervention in some way or other.  So, as time may flow in one direction only for us (from the past to the future), so does entropy always tend to increase (which is a rough measure of the disorder of a system).  Yes, order always flows in our Universe (at the macro scale) to disorder.

Therefore, the author has devised a new system of thought which includes a backward-in-time Universe to provide what he thinks is a needed symmetry to the present non-symmetrical reality.  But, we can see from the last analysis (in the previous text on the "Noumena", see it at the link below) that very often that two entropy phenomenal Universe's often has two distinct components that when multiplied are found to be equal to a constant.  In this case, two measures for entropy, two Macro Worlds (despite being pointed in opposing directions) = a constant, representing the total entropy for the Cosmos.

While we might conclude that the minute quantum World (in which a time direction doesn't matter) is simply a remnant left over (or a remainder) from the multiplicative processes of two opposing Universes' in their motions through time (and this might indeed be the correct way to view it).

Indeed, if there really is a backward-in-time Universe that accompanies our own, what might its effects be on our own Universe?  Unfortunately, they may all appear to be at the quantum level where just about anything can happen.  Yes, the unexplainable behavior at the quantum level only makes sense if we are talking about a situation where a time direction doesn't exist.  But, in this case, entropy can flow in either direction as well.  As we will see this leads inevitably to a much needed conservation law, at a specific location in thermodynamics where one should be (in the author's opinion).

The Conservation Of  Entropy

As mentioned above, it is in this case that we require a symmetrical situation for entropy taking place.   Why?   Because, while entropy increases in our forward-in-time Universe, in the backward-in-time case, the situation will be reversed.  So, mathematically speaking, Entropy X Entropy = 1, or some other Universal constant for total entropy which we could arbitrarily set equal to one.

Therefore, when entropy increases dramatically in our Universe, it must decrease by the same quantity in the backward-in-time Universe because both are equal to a constant (the total entropy of the Cosmos).  Therefore, Forward-In-Time Entropy  X  Backward-In-Time Entropy = A Universal Constant Of The Totality Of Entropy In The Cosmos.

So, entropy split from a perfect symmetry at the beginning of the Universe to both an entropy increasing Cosmos and an entropy decreasing one (traveling backward-in-time).  Hence, we can see that:

Entropy Increasing  +  Entropy Decreases   =   A Perfect Symmetry or Zero (0).

Does The "Real" Universe Operate Backward In Time?

As was discussed earlier, this line of reasoning suggests a "hidden" Cosmos that could simultaneously operate backward-in-time from our own.  In this Cosmos, the problems begin as all being solved and work backward into being mysteries (strange as this may sound).  In this World, imperfection moves toward perfection (and disorder towards order).  And, as the backward-in-time Cosmos ends (at its beginning), so ours will end.  This may sound a bit confusing at first, but think it through thoroughly and it will make sense.

The forward-in-time Universe may become progressively chaotic (actually much like the present situation in the World) and the backward-in-time Universe moves toward ever greater order.  But, it is actually not possible for us to access this backward-in-time Universe in any way, although it affects us directly moment by moment without our even realizing it.  And, this Universe operates (as stated previously) above that of light.  Thusly, we move forward (we are essentially the "smoke and mirrors" Cosmos), whilst all the while the "real" Universe travels in a backward direction from our own (in agreement with Einstein's relativity theory). Yes, the backward-in-time Universe may indeed stand right behind our own, the fabricated for us reality of our senses.

Entropy And Space-Time Flatness

It can be seen from the author's other work on entropy that entropy might be a measure of the flatness of space and time (space-time) in the Cosmos.  Hence, an increase in entropy could be equivalent to a flatness of space-time.  When one combines this view of the Universe with the work above, one arrives at some rather interesting conclusions.  For example, the backward-in-time Cosmos (as mentioned above) works toward ever increasing curvature, whilst the regular Cosmos that we inhabit tends to flatten out increasingly over time.   The quantum World, thus, becomes a kind of space-time foam between extreme flatness and curvature.

So, it follows that when the backward-in-time Universe achieves its maximum curvature, the Universe will come to an end.  Simultaneous to this event, our Universe flattens out completely.  Maximum curvature can be understood to be a vertical line, while minimum curvature can be seen largely as a horizontal one.  In the end, the Universe may sum, thusly, to a kind of plus sign Cosmos i.e.,  ( --   +   l  =  + ), or to view this rather differently, Maximum Curvature  +  Minimum Curvature  =  0.  Curvature polarization is, therefore, maximized when the Universe comes to a halt.  See the "Time-Entropy" text at the link below for more information.

This is similar to the above statement that:   Entropy Increase  +  Entropy Decrease =  0, because of the author's view that entropy is equivalent to space-time flatness.  At maximum polarization, the Universe ends.

The Texas Interpretation Of Quantum Mechanics

The author will from now on refer to this as the "Texas Version" so as to simplify matters as much as possible.  In the Texas Version, there are no particles that act as waves or probabilities of finding particles at particular locations.  There are only waves of space which take on particle-like characteristics during any measurement.  Otherwise, there is only (and always) a wavelike disturbance in space and time.  This wave is necessarily an ordinary electromagnetic wave in space.

During any measurement, if it is a photon, the photon (EM wave) becomes a photon and a photon hole (two particles).  These particles can in-turn cancel each other out until another measurement can be made.  Wave structure will then be revealed in the patterns that the photons and holes both combine to reveal.  The two slit experiment can be explained this way.  See the "Space Grid" text for further details at the link below.

It is surprising but true that a photon hole travels backward-in-time to meet the photon that was emitted (and may act as a tube through which the photons pass).  Hence, in some cases the photon passes through the hole it makes in space coming from its destination to the source.  This may be a surprising result for some people.  But, this result may completely eliminate the aether from any possible consideration.

When a photon is not being measured, it takes on wavelike characteristics in space such as were described by Maxwell.  The departure from Maxwell is that one half of the wave travels from source to destination, whilst the other half travels from destination to source i.e., backward-in-time.  In free space, the wave has, therefore, two components (one electric and one magnetic as in Maxwellian theory), but also two directions in time!

The same must also be true for the electron. That is when an electron is continuously actualized (a kind of measurement) by a wire, the electron will pass through the wire.  But, the magnetic component acts outside the wire and travels (you guessed it!) backward-in-time.  So, while the electron moves through the wire in one direction, the magnetic field comes from the opposite direction (from its destination at the far end of the wire).

Hence, non-locality may always be the case in the "Texas Interpretation".  Believe it or not, non-locality (or faster than light ability) is actually allowed by special relativity, but it requires that particles travel backward-in-time (and faster than light).  While Einstein could not accept backward-in-time (or faster than c) particles in his day, the author embraces them here in this text.   In fact, the author has made non-locality the cornerstone of his view of quantum mechanics.  Therefore, non-locality will be the cornerstone of this view of reality.

So, we see the present situation where on a large scale, time selects a specific direction to point (the arrow of time points one way), whilst at the micro scale time direction does not matter (the arrow of time points either way).  The situation appears a bit like this:

          1.                                                  2.                                                      3.

Macro-Forward           *            Macro-Backward             *        Micro-Forward/Backward

Forward-In-Time         *            Backward-In-Time          *        Both Directions At Once

Our "Fake" Universe     *         The Real Universe         *         The Quantum Universe

Slower Than Light     *             Faster Than Light         *          Mix Of Both Speeds

Therefore, all # 1's above are related as are # 2's as well as all # 3's.

These relationships might lead one to the following equation:

Macro Faster-Than-Light / Backward-In-Time (Noumena)  +   Quantum Faster-Than-Light / Backward-In-Time (Noumena)  =  Macro Forward-In-Time / Slower Than The Speed Of Light (Phenomena).  These relationships are discussed further in the "Noumenal Mathematics" text at the link below.

This is the symmetry of entropy that was broken at the beginning of the Cosmos.  Noumena + Noumena = Phenomena.  One whole piece of matter was divided into three kinds of matter at the beginning of the Universe.  Our Universe ends (again) when the backward-in-time Cosmos slows to the speed of light, reaching its beginning point.  At that juncture, the cycle may begin again or the Universe may simply end----either result is possible in this scenario.

Do Photon Tubes Eliminate The Aether?

Very popular among dissident physics types (although never with this author!) has been the aether (ether).  However the spelling, it is the medium that supposedly carries light through empty space to the Earth.  The aether argument doesn't work for a number of reasons that go beyond the scope of this text.  But, the question still remains, how does light travel through seemingly empty space from the Sun (or other stars) to the planets such as the Earth?  The author proposes here a somewhat different explanation, one that probably may not be seen elsewhere.

The aether is not needed in this model because (perhaps) photons fly through empty space via photon hole or tubes in space and time.  Every photon is accompanied by its hole which will interfere with it giving it wavelike characteristics whenever it impacts a detector.  The photon acts wavelike until it hits a detector which will reveal its partner, the photon hole.  Photon holes, thus, will cancel out a photon in space yielding the impression of a "light wave".  This can be seen in the "space grid" text at the link below.  Until it is needed, the photon hole surrounds the photon much like a hose surrounds the water through which it may pass.  The aether is, therefore, not needed in this conception.  So, aether be gone!

Conclusion

This model makes the following probable predictions:

1)  The magnetic fields surrounding an electrical wire with a current flowing through it will be found to react to another magnet at speeds faster than that of light.  This is because the magnetic component comes from the source at faster than light (backward-in-time).

2)  A new theory of magnets may thus be derived from this ideation.  That is, a magnet may oscillate in harmonies that are in tune with the backward-in-time universe, the realm of magnetic fields.  And, these fields will be found to react at speeds above that of light.

3)  The Universe grinds to a halt when the backward-in-time one reaches its beginning point.
