Abstract:
The author believes that this text represents the correct methodology for picturing the relationship between matter, antimatter, radiation and space. In a single stroke, this model combines all of the author's ideas in a simple mirror-like system of symmetries, where all of these entities are reduced to a single wave-like system of super-space. This is a piece of symmetrical super-space where that symmetry was broken long ago in the Big Bang. So, the Big Bang essentially was composed of a wave in this super-space that became those elements we see as broken symmetries in the Universe today. The author arrived at his conclusions through his past work and by examining the energy conservation of various wave systems. One of the key proposals of this text is that Universe's are resonance systems. This may be a key insight. Universe's that are out of phase with the matter and space that compose our bodies, go undetected by us. Virtual particles, that go largely undetectable by particle detectors are explained as being out of phase with the matter composing the detector. In many ways, the tag-along Universe mirrors our own. These comparisons of our Universe with the mirror Universe will be discussed in greater detail--including time travel and unlimited energy. The image provided in the text hopefully will add some clarity to these concepts.

Introduction
When two wave systems that are precisely out of phase with each other ( or 180 degrees out of phase) meet head on, they may commonly cancel out each other. Thus, an energy system energy + an energy system = 0. How can this be so? How can (say) two ocean waves, which carry energy from place to place, meet and yield a net energy of zero? But, this same phenomenon transpires often, not only in ocean waves, but also commonly in light waves or any other kind of wave system as well.
For example, in the two-slit experiment of quantum mechanics, it is demonstrated that: light + light = darkness. It appears to the author that the primary way to reconcile this with the conservation of energy principle is to suggest that there is a mirror Universe that is accompanying our own. So, there is a constant interaction of our Universe with this tag-along mirror Universe. As will be seen subsequently, the author has generated a diagram to explain his ideas how this can be so.
A Tag-Along Mirror Universe
This diagram might also become a model for the separating of symmetries in the Big Bang. The idea is that the four elements that compose what we refer to as reality (matter, antimatter, radiation and space) were all one element in the Big Bang; a piece of (or wave in) super-space. We see these element below are represented as wave fluctuations in ordinary space.
For example, in Cell # 1 below, we observe a wave of ordinary matter traveling below speed c. In Cell # 2, a wave of antimatter, which is precisely out of phase with the piece of matter. Hence, the antimatter in Cell # 2 can be seen to be a fold or mirror image of Cell # 1 folded about the line (or fold) A. Furthermore, it can be understood that Cell # 1 + Cell # 2, therefore, sum to be zero. Since conservation of energy must hold, radiation in the form of photons must be the result and this is observationally correct as well. So, Cell # 3 (radiation) is brought into the action which is a fold or mirror image of Cell # 1 about the line B.
When photons arise from matter--antimatter interactions, this may be the point at which the other mirror Universe is interacting with our own. Thusly, radiation arises from the other mirror Universe to correct an imbalance in our own Universe. Therefore, what we observe as radiation in our own Universe may simply be an act by the mirror Universe to correct a violation of energy conservation.
Perhaps, c is essentially the escape velocity into our Universe from our partner Universe. So, radiation is simply waves (photons and holes) that have achieved escape velocity and have an opportunity to enter our Universe when and where they are required. The zero-point energy background that is so much discussed by physicists these days may be the escape edge of that other Universe with our own. It is presently believed that the vacuum is seething with energy!
In addition, what we observe as electromagnetic "waves", may be the emission of both photons with their partners--photon holes in Cell # 4. Hence, a matter--antimatter collision may actually involve all four cells below as they unfold. So, matter and antimatter can produce photons as well as photon holes or space particles.
Conversely, it can be seen that ordinary radiation, which is a mixture of photons and holes, should give rise to matter--antimatter particle pairs. So, in regions where radiation is emitted (such as near a star like our Sun), there may be an increased probability that matter--antimatter particle pairs will be produced. Furthermore, this probability should decrease as the square of the distance (1 / d^2) from the radiant source, as the radiation itself does. Henceforth, energy conservation expresses itself in radiation systems (as in Cell # 3 and # 4 above) as an increased likelihood that a particle pair will be produced--or Cell # 1 and # 2 above.
Indeed, this is commonly referred to as the quantum vacuum, a mixture of matter--antimatter as well as photons (and holes). So, all four of these "Cells" below must again occur at once (although the photon holes cannot be observed--they're space after all!). Indeed, when one cell exists, so must all the others.
Why? Because, when one element (or cell) becomes unfolded (comes into existence), the others must also follow suit. Otherwise, energy conservation among the two Universe's may become violated! This is not allowed. This unfolding, however, may not exclusively be in our own Universe, but is often taking place as well in the accompanying Universe to our own. This unfolding (as we will see) was what the author believes occurred in the Big Bang. Therefore, by studying the image above, one can see why the quantum vacuum must exist--it arises out of the energy conservation principle from the emission of radiation.
Moreover, it is difficult to explain the two-slit experiment of quantum mechanics in any reasonable fashion without introducing holes (from the mirror Universe) into the picture. The author believes that the wave characteristic of matter and radiation may actually be the interaction of these opposites with each other. See the "Space Grid" text for a further explanation and description at the link below.
Hence, virtual particle waves may be out of phase with a detector made of ordinary matter. However, the virtual particles that make up the electromagnetic field may have effects in our own Universe, but they may actually exist in the tag along Universe precisely out of phase with our own. The electromagnetic field is simply these out of phase waves in space, which will exhibit their effects when magnets or charged particles are brought nearby. When a charged particle becomes vibrated or accelerated, it may cause a shift in the phase of the photons in the field permitting detection by ordinary instruments. So, light emission may actually be a shift in the phase of the photons that compose the tag-along mirror Universe.
Where a particle arises in our Universe, an antiparticle may come about in the mirror Universe and also vice versa. The degree to which a particle can be detected may depend upon the amount of this shift of phase. While we may feel indirectly the effects of the particles as zero-point energy fluctuations, we cannot view the particles directly. They exist in what Immanuel Kant calls "the noumenal existence", or the World of the things in themselves. We only detect the signals sent from this reality to our own, the phenomenal World.
Moreover, this is one reason why we do not "see" visible light directly, but only observe light's effect upon matter. This interaction can be understood to be generally one of cancellation and not of a resonance. Light cancels the colors we do not see and reveals that which we do. See the "Color" text or the author's other texts at the links below for further details.
But, In the mirror tag-along Universe, light brings those colors not seen in our Universe into resonance, while dampening the colors that we do see in our Universe. So, the mirror Universe is opposite to our own. This amounts to a kind of conservation of "color" between the two Universes. Thus, a dampening of waves in our Universe amounts to a resonance in the mirror Universe and vice versa.
It should be noted that our Universe is mostly matter and space (Cell # 1 and 4 above) and somewhat lacking (relatively speaking) in radiation and (especially) antimatter (Cell # 2 and 3 above). Perhaps, antimatter doesn't often reach escape velocity, except in high energy collisions, for example, in Cosmic Rays in the Earth's atmosphere. So, antimatter is relatively rare in our Universe.
Hence, in the tag-along Universe, antimatter and photons dominate. Antimatter, therefore, may be composed of photons and may have antigravity which may repel other pieces of matter. So, in the other Universe, the fields may be visible, but the matter that gives rise to them are not! Thus, antimatter may be visible in the mirror Universe, but the fields that surround this matter should be visible only in our Universe.
Perhaps, some of the powerhouses we now observe through telescopes (perhaps powering quasars or other very bright objects in the Universe) may actually be the effects of pieces of antimatter from the mirror Universe in our own Universe. So, super-massive black holes may not be the only explanation of the tremendous energy sources for these very bright objects in the Universe. Indeed, this text may offer an alternative explanation that doesn't involve any black holes.
Thusly, there may a small amount of ordinary matter in the mirror Universe, just as there is a small amount of antimatter in our own Universe. Whatever happens in our Universe is mirror reflected in the tag-along out of phase Universe.
Note in the above image that Cell # 1 and # 4 (and # 2 and # 3) are waveforms that are identical in their phases, except for their inherent velocities. Could it be that the characteristic that defines a Universe is a resonance, a positive reinforcement of waves?!
That is, when you add the two cell waves (in the image above) together "in phase", they positively reinforce each other--what is commonly called a resonance. Therefore, when you add the wave # 1 and # 4 together and similarly # 2 and # 3 together in the image above, there can be a positive reinforcement of these two wave systems with each other--a resonance occurs. Yes, the other tag-along Universe essentially is right here with us and literally overlapping us. However, since our own waves are usually always out of phase with this mirror Universe, we do not (and cannot) notice them. We only see indirect effects of this Universe as light or occasionally very small bits of antimatter.
It can be understood from previous work that matter is simply the slower version of photon holes and (as you might have guessed) antimatter is the slowed version of photons. However, regardless of speed, there is still a resonance going on here between these two sets of waves. See the "Matter As Photon Holes" or the "Antimatter" texts for a further description at the links below.
The Unfolding Big Bang
It can be understood that based upon this picture of the Universe that the Big Bang may have been just such an unfolding of the four cells above. Hence, matter, antimatter, radiation and space were once all the same. That is, they were all the equivalent of Cell # 1 above, a wavelike splash in (let's call it) "super-space". Super-space was a combination of matter, antimatter, radiation and photon hole space. However, this wave in essence was all folded up (at that time) so all of these components were absolutely identical to each other.
They then unfolded after the expansion and cooling of the Big Bang occurred in a mirror-like fashion across fold A and B above to form the four different elements we see today. There remained, however, two separate but interacting mirror Universes (overlapping one another). Matter in our Universe is equivalent to radiation (except for speed) in the other Universe and vice versa. Thus, antimatter in the tag-along Universe are photon holes (or space) in our own Universe and vice versa. This assumes that we humans could exist in this other mirror Universe (which at present we cannot). Our bodies (as wavelike entities) are 180 degrees out of phase with the tag-along mirror Universe.
The mystery of the accelerated expansion of space in our Universe might be solved by assuming that this tag-along Universe is now "dumping" space particles into our own Universe. Perhaps, our Universe is (or has) unloaded its antimatter or radiation into the accompanying Universe, so in turn our partner (as a balancing of energy) is off-loading its space into ours. This new space, therefore, is driving our (presently observed) increasing expansion! Perhaps, the accompanying Universe is now shrinking as we are presently growing at an accelerated rate.
If all this sounds a little too speculative, consider the alternative "dark energy" hypothesis, where the energy that drives the Universe is created from absolutely nothing! At least in this model, energy conservation can be restored, but the quantities of this energy are shared among the two interacting out of phase mirror Universes.
Are Universes' Resonance's?
The author will now discuss for a moment the idea (as alluded to earlier) that Universe's are simply resonance's. Our bodies resonate with this Universe we occupy primarily because we are made of ordinary matter and space. We are, therefore, in phase with it! Since this is what our own Universe is largely composed of (as the image above demonstrates), our bodies will resonate with other pieces of matter and space.
The author has always wondered about the origin of the light that comes from a light bulb or other light source. The photons were always a mystery. How did they arise? Where did they come from? If this model is taken seriously, photons are basically the adjustments of energy imbalances, not only from place to place, but also between the two "sister" Universes. So, the sum of this energy between these Universe's is always conserved.
As mentioned earlier, radiation might be so illusive and difficult to understand because while we can detect its heat and use it to detect other pieces of matter, we are generally always out of phase with it. This is true of antimatter as well, although in rare cases there is a small chance that we will detect small particles of it as well (actually we only see tracings of antimatter in a bubble or cloud chamber). We never actually observe the antimatter itself--only its characteristic tracks.
So, we are not in resonance with radiation or antimatter, hence, they primarily occupy this other tag-along Universe with us. Thus, both radiation and antimatter appear in our "in phase" Universe as somewhat ghost-like. Let this be very clear: This accompanying Universe is here with us (and in the same room as you are now), but the matter that composes your body is simply out of phase with it, so you do not (and cannot) detect it!
It's rather like a radio or television not being able to detect the stations (or channels) that it is not tuned to. Henceforth, these electromagnetic signals are ever-present in the environment, but they are essentially invisible to any device without the proper tuning. Similarly, the tag-along mirror Universe is here now, but our senses being made of ordinary matter are simply not in-tune with it.
However, radiation has some direct and noteworthy effects in our own Universe: 1) Radiation interacts with matter permitting the phenomenon we call "color". 2) The author believes that what is known as "particle decay" is a cancellation effect of matter due to background radiation. 3) The author believes also that "gravity" is an effect of the differences in background radiation due to the presence of matter. In the author's view, all three of these phenomena are primarily due to the cancellation of matter by radiation, the effect of out of phase waves with each other. The author has written entire texts on these subjects available also on this Website. See the links below for further details.
The Backward In Time Mirror
It is notable that the mirror Universe should be a backward in time Universe. That is, in the tag-along Universe, effects may precede causes. So, the physical laws (even on the large scale) are time symmetric, but only when both Universe's are taken into consideration. Yes, in our Universe, time has a direction, an arrow of time. This can only be true, however, if the tag-along Universe has the opposite time arrow.
At the quantum level, all events are time-symmetric, because this is the scale where the two Universe's must merge! As bodies approach the speed of light (c), mass is (according to relativity) added to a body. This mass may, therefore, be dumped from the mirror Universe and into a body in our own Universe, any body that approaches c. The speed of light may, therefore, affect the phase of a piece of matter. This mass gain in our own Universe may tend to reduce the kinetic energy of particles in the out of phase mirror Universe.
Moreover, in the mirror Universe, entropy always decreases. So, over time in the mirror Universe things become more orderly as in our Universe things become less ordered as time passes. Entropy is, therefore, also a conserved quantity, but again only if both Universe's are taken into consideration! ---Conservation of entropy.
It may also be the case that light in our own Universe may be blackness in the partner Universe and vice versa. Zero-point energy may then be understood to be the reason for the blackness in the night sky. Our night sky is black because it is filled with radiant energy in the tag-along mirror Universe. Zero-point oscillations are the remnant physical evidence for the energy in the mirror Universe. See the author's work on darkness and blackness on the index page.
It is notable that there are a number of physical processes operating in our Universe at large that from our perspective appear to point in only one direction. Time, entropy and cause & effect on the large scale are but several such examples. These broken symmetries in our Universe are not easily dismissed and explained by physicists. The author believes that a satisfactory methodology of reconciling these broken symmetries is by factoring in the mirror Universe into the equation, a (for us) unobservable presence in our own Universe now that can balance the symmetrical books.
Therefore, in summary, this proposal essentially means that overlapping our own Universe lies a backward in time out of phase Universe that has the characteristic of rebalancing the uneven symmetries present now in our own Universe. Indeed, as the Universe cooled off after the Big Bang, the waves all spread out (as waves do over a distance) and the symmetries unfolded mixing in, resulting in the out of phase backward in time mirror Universe. Some of the author's closely related ideas concerning symmetries can be seen at the "Interesting Symmetries" text at the link below.
Practical Applications?
A methodology for transporting human beings to this other Universe would be a technology for shifting the phase of the human body to that of antimatter. Hence, our present state of vibration would have to be precisely shifted to leave this phase of our Universe. This might be the key to time travel into the past (since as mentioned above the mirror Universe operates in a backward in time mode). Thus, the key to time travel into the past may also be to precisely shift the phase of the matter that makes up the human body.
In addition, this may also give us access to a free (or almost free) unlimited energy source. The production of large quantities of antimatter might be accomplished in the same fashion by the shifting of ordinary matter precisely 180 degrees out of phase. When needed, this antimatter could be joined with ordinary matter to produce great amounts of energy through matter/antimatter annihilation. This would be a very efficient energy conversion process as given by E = mc^2.
So, the author does see some practical applications that may arise from this work. Precisely, how, in practical terms, this shift of phase might take place is not completely clear, however. But, this transformation of sorts would undoubtedly require some expenditure of energy, so the shift may not be completely free.
In the author's "Atomic Physics" text, it is proposed that pressure may be the methodology for changing the wave phase of a piece of matter. In that text, it is proposed that cold fusion might be achieved through the shift of phase via pressure on atoms. See the link below for further details.
Conclusion
So, perhaps, Aristotle may have been onto something with his hypothesis that four elements compose everything in the Universe. However, he simply incorrectly identified the elements! Henceforth, it may not Earth, Air, Fire And Water that compose the Universe as Aristotle proposed, but Matter (the Earth is matter), Space (Air is somewhat close), Radiation (Fire is similar also) and Antimatter (Matter traveling backward in time or mirror imaged--Aristotle would have never guessed this!).
It is interesting that Aristotle didn't see water as a form of matter--as is the Earth. It's quite popular among physicists to poke fun at Aristotle these days, but considering the times in which he lived, however, the author believes that Aristotle was a very insightful thinker--and certainly was vastly superior to any of his contemporaries! Yes, the author no longer smiles at the teachings of Aristotle, because the author believes that, given the experimental apparatus available during those times, Aristotle made quite a deep mark indeed.
It is somewhat difficult to extract the probable predictions from this model, but given the image in text, here are a few:
1) All elements that make up the Universe are all identical, except for their phase and wave speed.
2) Antimatter may much more rarely reach escape velocity from our mirror Universe, so it usually requires high energy to produce it. Escape velocity for antimatter may be close to c. Despite existing out of phase with our own Universe, radiation has significant effects in our Universe because it travels at c. Causes in the tag-along Universe may have effects in our own. This is analogous to Kant's noumenal verses phenomenal reality.
3) When the energy of the two mirror Universe's are added, energy (and perhaps also color) is always conserved between them.
4) Our Universe consists mostly of matter and space (Cell # 1 and # 4), whilst our tag-along Universe contains mostly antimatter and radiation (Cell # 2 and # 3). It is noteworthy that these two wave sets are both identical except for speed--and essentially are in resonance with each other. This may not be a coincidence. Hence, perhaps, what we call Universes are simply wave resonance's! See the above description for further details.
5) Some of the vast quantities of energy in our Universe may be the effects of antimatter in the tag-along Universe. See above for a deeper description.
6) The mirror Universe is a backward in time Universe.
7) Darkness in our Universe may be light in the mirror Universe and vice versa.
8) Time travel and unlimited quantities of energy might be possible by the shifting of the phase of pieces of matter. See above.
